The Providence is situated in the centre of the historic village of Sandgate on the A259 between Folkestone and Hythe.
A country style pub with a safe and friendly atmosphere, The Providence has been in the Latchford family for 59 years and is still a family run pub, with a real log fire in the colder months.
Open every day, The Providence serves real ales, a selection of wines and a wide ranging food menu. Lunch time meals are served between 12 noon and 2pm Tuesday - Sunday, and evening meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm until 9pm.
We are close to the Sandgate seafront and beaches. We have an outside seating area to the front of the pub. Well behaved children are welcome inside and out, as are dogs on leads.
There is a public car park within walking distance in Castle Road. Free wifi for customers on request.
We can cater for small functions such as birthdays, funerals, leaving parties, car treasure hunts etc. Please call for details.
