The Providence is situated in the centre of the historic village of Sandgate on the A259 between Folkestone and Hythe.
A country style pub with a safe and friendly atmosphere, The Providence has been in the Latchford family for 56 years and is still a family run pub, with a real log fire in the colder months.
Open every day, The Providence serves real ales, a selection of wines and a wide ranging food menu. Lunch time meals are served between 12 noon and 2pm every day, and evening meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm until 9pm.
We are close to the Sandgate seafront and beaches. We have an outside seating area to the front of the pub where children are welcome, but we are not licenced for children under 16 on the premises.
There is a public car park within walking distance in Castle Road, and if you eat at the pub you can claim up to two hours parking back off the cost of your ticket. Free wifi for customers.
We can cater for small functions such as birthdays, funerals, leaving parties, car treasure hunts etc. Please call for details.
