About Sandgate
The Providence sits in the middle of Sandgate village, a historic coastal village on the Kent Channel coast.
Sandgate boasts a wealth of history including Sandgate Castle and the Martello Towers built to defend and guard the country from attack, graceful houses which attracted HG Wells and others to live here, and fantastic sea views across the Channel.
Sandgate has played host to boat builders and smugglers, and more recently, Sandgate became home to the headquarters of Saga, working from their striking Enbrook Park home. Sandgate High Street is known for its array of Antique shops, restaurants and summer displays of flowers lining the High Street.
Located just a few minutes from Folkestone with its shops, conference centre and the fanastic coast top Leas Promenade and award winning Lower Leas Coastal Park,
